Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 31, 2026

The Sitdown Firm ("we," "us," or "our") provides marketing, qualification, and scheduling services to financial professionals. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. When you complete a form on our website — such as our territory check or fit-call booking — we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, and answers to qualification questions about your practice (such as revenue range, team size, and marketing history).

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we and our service providers may collect standard technical information when you visit, such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring pages, through cookies and similar technologies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Consumer information processed for our clients. As part of our services, we operate advertising, qualification, and scheduling programs on behalf of financial-professional clients. Individuals who respond to those programs provide their information to be contacted about and scheduled with the specific client practice, and that information is collected and used for that purpose. In those programs we act as a service provider to our client, and the client's own privacy practices also apply to their relationship with the individual.

2. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries, evaluate fit, and schedule and confirm appointments and calls;
  • To provide, operate, and improve our services, including qualification and scheduling programs operated for clients;
  • To contact you by phone, email, or text message where you have agreed to be contacted, including appointment reminders and confirmations;
  • To maintain records, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations;
  • To analyze and improve our website and marketing.

Where our forms state that you agree to be contacted by phone, email, or text, submitting the form constitutes your consent to that contact. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply to text messages; reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time.

3. How we share information

  • Service providers. We use vendors that help us operate — such as hosting, scheduling, telephony, customer-relationship, and advertising platforms — under obligations to protect the information.
  • Our clients. If you provide information in response to a program we operate for a specific financial-professional client (for example, to book an appointment with that practice), we share it with that client for that purpose.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information where required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above — including maintaining business records and complying with legal obligations — and then delete or de-identify it.

5. Your choices and rights

  • You may opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message, and opt out of texts by replying STOP.
  • You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as those laws require.
  • If you submitted information in connection with one of our client programs, we may refer your request to the relevant client or handle it on their instruction, as applicable.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Our website and services are directed to business professionals and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

8. Not financial advice

The Sitdown Firm is a marketing and scheduling services company. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or insurance producer, and nothing on our website or in our communications is financial, investment, insurance, tax, or legal advice.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.
